ULCERATE Signs With WILLOWTIP RECORDS

August 29, 2008

Willowtip Records has announced the signing of New Zealand's ULCERATE. The band's drummer Jamie Saint Merat commented: "ULCERATE is really looking forward to calling Willowtip home, a label we've respected for a long time, and whose reputation for quality bands and quality service is something we really identify with. It feels great to have their support and backing!"

ULCERATE is currently in pre-production for its forthcoming album, "Everything Is Fire". A seething, more emotionally darker album than "Of Fracture and Failure", "Everything Is Fire" is more extensively orchestrated and rhythmically complex, coupling suffocating density with moments of serene bleakness, according to a press release. Bassist Paul Kelland will handle vocal duties this time around, and the album will be mastered by Peter In de Betou (NASUM, MESHUGGAH, AMON AMARTH) in Sweden.

"Everything Is Fire" will be released in early 2009.

ULCERATE is:

Michael Hoggard - Guitar
Michael Rothwell - Guitar
Paul Kelland - Bass
Jamie Saint Merat – Drums
